How does the meta work? Barely! It's very confusing, got 3444 honorable kills from BGs and I can't say I've met a single build that made me think "this is OP fuck this server fuck this game", just different people of different power levels depending on their luck, I remember having more issues with warrior classes back when we played on wowbeez or certain paladins that were unkillable in pvp. At the moment the server is going on a "draft pick" mode, where you choose 1 out of 3 random abilities every 2 levels. Not sure about the exp rates, leveling is quite fast and can be even faster if you have exp aura/potions.Įveryone is the same class, "hero", and you can basically choose and pick your character with talents from every possible vanilla class. I miss the days of us walking in stormwind and stomping people, and on this server people are too afraid to do that kind of crazy shit. Why should we try play here? Because there's just so much shit to do! And with organizations you can do a lot of things, like leveling parties to go 1-60 in under 2 hours and spam skill cards, or open world pvp stuff to stomp people and take their shit.
TLDR: A classless, pick 1-out-of-3 random abilities server, starting in vanilla progressing towards tbc, with mythic+ raids, open world bosses, and an optional pvp system where if you kill someone you loot some of their gear! As Roundhouse has made his debut on Discord going on about private servers, I agree with his idea and wanna pitch Ascension.Ĭhances are you've seen ads on the internet about this server, and the clickbait is real!
